Enforcement Authority

Various laws and regulations that apply to credit unions, and the related federal enforcement authorities, are listed in the enforcement authorities section of the NSPM. While the NCUA is not the primary enforcer under some of these regulations, Title II of theFCUA authorizes the agency to take cease and desist actions for violations of any law.
