Profile
The Profile is a collection of information a credit union provides to the NCUA through CUOnline. The information in the Profile generally changes less frequently than the financial information reported on the Call Report, and includes general credit union information, including:
- Contacts
- Sites
- Information systems and technology
- Regulatory information
- Programs and services
- Grants and partnerships
- Merger registry
- CUOnline users
The NCUA regulation ยง 741.6(a)(1) requires federally insured credit unions to update the Profile with accurate information within 10 days of electing or appointing (hiring) a volunteer official or senior management. NCUA regulations also require credit unions to report a change to any other information in the Profile within 30 days of the change. The CUOnline system will automatically notify the assigned district examiner when a credit union updates its Profile Contacts, Sites, General, IS&T, or Programs and Services sections.
To complete and upload the Call Report, federally insured, natural person credit unions must certify their Profile with each quarterly Call Report submission. Detailed instructions for completing a Profile are included in the NCUA's CUOnline Instructions.
The NCUA posts credit unions' address, phone number, website address, and CEO/Manager on the NCUA.gov website (see Research a Credit Union).
