SATEX or Equivalent Trending Tool
SATEX is an Excel workbook that allows examiners to trend, monitor, and analyze data from a credit union’s monthly financial statements over multiple months, quarters, and/or years. The SATEX is an annual report that requires examiners to enter data for each month year-to-date, regardless of which month the trending begins.
The NSPM requires examiners to trend monthly financial data for credit unions that meet specific requirements. Examiners must trend the data using SATEX or an equivalent tool. The SATEX spreadsheet is available in the job aids repository.
